What is Aleph Null?
“Aleph Null” refers to the smallest infinity. Some infinities are larger than others, and to me that has much more meaning than its literal face value. When I first learned this fact, it resonated with me in more of a philosophical way: even the infinite can be transcended. There are so many things that have limits despite being vast enough to be considered infinite, and much more importantly, even something which already appears to be at its limit can hold the potential to grow so much larger.
Here’s to setting out to find the upper limits of our infinite potential.
And here’s an excellent video on Infinity and Aleph Null. Veritasium has a lot of excellent videos worth checking out.
